AG-168V 1-port FXS Gateway |
As with AT323 and AT320, ATCOM continued to follow our standard design. AG-168V is identical with PA168V.

Back. Check for the 2 RJ11 ports here, this is the simplest way to separate it from AG-168(PA168Q), which used the same case. Large |

PCB. Check for the AM79R70 chip on this image, it is the major difference between PA168V and PA168Q.
Also check for the MT28F016S5 chip on this image, it is the major difference between PA168V and PA168P. Large |

PCB back. Most PA1688 deviced used only 1 side for components, like this one, it is empty on the back side. Large |

The following Soyo G1681 pictures were taken by careful Dave, obviously it is the same device as above.
Dave's original email:
Hello, I recently purchased the Soyo G1681 gateway, which is based on the PA1688 chip. It came pre-installed with firmware v1.42. Unfortunately Soyo went out of business a few years ago,
and the newest firmware version available from them (v1.49) does not seem to be available anywhere online.
I compared it to the models you have listed on your site, and it is most similar to the AG-168V. The plastic shell is identical except for the Soyo name,
and it has the AM79R70 and MT28F016S5 chips that you describe. However, as you can see in the attached photos, the PCB layout is slightly different.
Is one of your current firmware versions compatible with this device?
P.S. Feel free to use these photos on your website if you think they would be useful to others.
